What an awesome few days following some of NZ's best street artists as they created some amazing new work around K Road....
Each of the pieces was so different and the shear scale of the works, wow!! I can't get over the skills of standing so close to a wall while painting in order to create a final image that looks so great from such a distance.
Hopefully over the next couple of days I will get finished on the 9 day time lapse of Owen Dippie's epic photo realistic work of his close friend and her beautiful te moko. A truly awesome gift to Auckland and New Zealand with its prime wall right by the motorway. So grateful to have had the chance to follow him from the white wash day all the way through to the final sprays on the hair and neck.
Damn!! some serious painting skills and we are left with some cool new murals to brighten up some boring walls.......
